Kuala Lumpur: Teka-teki mengenai nama model terbaru keluaran PROTON yang akan dilancarkan secara rasminya pada Sabtu ini, akhirnya terjawab apabila model hatchback lima pintu dengan enjin berkuasa Turbo 1.6 liter itu dikenali sebagai Proton Suprima S.

Pengenalan model berkenaan adalah kesinambungan daripada kejayaan model Proton Preve sedan yang dilancarkan pada pertengahan tahun lalu dan kelahiran Proton Suprima S pula lebih dikenali Preve Hatchback dengan menggunakan kod P3-22A.

Pelancaran rasmi model berkenaan akan disempurnakan oleh Penasihat PROTON Holdings Berhad, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad di Pusat Pameran dan Konvensyen MATRADE pada jam 9.30 pagi, Sabtu ini. Turut hadir, Pengerusi Eksekutif PROTON, Tan Sri Mohd Khamil Jamil.

Proton pada Jun lalu, melancarkan peraduan “Nama Siapa Hebat” yang terbuka kepada seluruh rakyat Malaysia untuk menamakan model kompak terbarunya dengan hadiah utama berupa sebuah model baru versi Premium beserta hadiah pakej pelancongan, wang tunai dan gajet elektronik bernilai lebih RM120,000.

Sumber industri berkata, antara ciri menarik model berkenaan ialah reka bentuknya yang lebih aerodinamik dengan gaya kereta Eropah manakala ruang dalaman dan but lebih luas.

“Kelahiran model ini adalah selari dengan perkembangan semasa industri automotif yang kini menyaksikan model hatchback diperkenalkan sejurus selepas sesebuah model sedan dilancarkan.

“Model ini dijual pada harga lebih RM70,000 seunit kerana dipadankan dengan enjin berkuasa Turbo dan menjadi model kereta pertama di negara ini yang menggunakan radio Android keluaran Blaupunkt yang mempunyai fungsi untuk melayari Internet,” katanya.

Beliau berkata, dengan sentuhan kejuruteraan Lotus yang terkenal daripada segi aspek teknologi enjin dan pemanduan, model baru itu mampu memikat golongan muda yang gemarkan kereta yang lebih sporty serta kompak. Ciri keselamatan lain ialah sistem brek anti kunci (ABS), EBD, beg udara SRS berkembar, kawalan cengkaman (TC), pengawal stabiliti elektronik (ESC) dan lampu hadapan automatik.

Ciri lain termasuk butang kawalan di stereng, pedal penukar gear di stereng, butang pemula, auto cruise, pengelap cermin automatik, sistem audio sambungan Bluetooth, USB, iPod dan navigasi GPS.

FashionValet for Downy Parfum Collection Contest: Term & Conditions

1. This “FashionValet for Downy Parfum Collections Contest” (“Contest”) is open to all Malaysian citizens who is at least 18 years of age (“Participants”) EXCEPT employees (and their immediate families) of P&G and their agencies associated with this Contest.
2. This Contest begins on 1^st Aug 2013 and ends on 30^th Sept 2013 (“Contest Period”). P&G reserves the right to amend the Contest Period at any time without prior notice. All entries received outside the Contest Period will be disqualified.
3. Each Participant has to purchase at least RM20 worth of Downy Mystique in a single receipt (“Receipt”) during the Contest Period from any participating outlet, and complete this contest form (“Contest Form”). This Contest Form is available only at participating outlets in Malaysia and each Receipt entitles the Participant to receive only ONE Contest Form.
4. All entries are to be made by way of submitting the completed original Contest Form together with the original Receipt to the address stated on this Contest Form.  All entries must be received by 30^th Sept 2013. Proof of postage is not proof of receipt.
5. Photocopies of the Receipt and/or Contest Form will not be accepted as an entry. Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified. P&G reserves the right to reject entries that are damaged or tampered with.
6. Each Participant may participate in this Contest more than once.
7. The winning entry will be selected by a panel of P&G employees based on the Participant’s score in answering three questions. The participant must get the question correctly 1) What’s the name of the new Downy Parfum collection; for the second answer to be judged based on creativity by answering the slogan 2) “Donwy Mystique is not just fabric care, but fashion care because ____________ in 10 words or less. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. Judges’ decision will be final and no further correspondence with the Participants will be entertained.
8. The Grand Prize of this Contest comprise of 1 (one) full set of Fashion Valet for Downy Parfum Collection worth RM4,000 and RM100 worth of Downy products.
9. The Consolation Prize of this Contest comprise of Downy products worth RM200 for five (5) persons each.
10. The winners of this Contest (“Winner”) will be notified by P&G no later than 10^th Oct 2013 after the Contest Period by phone to the contact number stated in this Contest Form. P&G reserves the right to use any other method or medium it deems fit at its sole discretion to contact the Winner.
11. The prize is strictly not transferable or returnable or exchangeable for cash or any other item. P&G may at its sole discretion substitute or replace the prize with any other equal or similar value (in kind) selected by it without prior notice.
12. The Winner will have to produce his/her original identity card for the purposes of verification to claim the prize.
13. The prize is to be redeemed at Procter & Gamble (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, 10th Floor, Surian Tower, No.1, Jalan PJU 7/3 Mutiara Damansara, 47810 Petaling Jaya, Selangor (Opening hours: 9am-5pm).
14. The Grand prize must be redeemed on or before 16^th Oct 2013 2013. The prize not claimed by such dates shall be automatically forfeited and dealt with according to the reasonable discretion of P&G, subject to compliance with any applicable laws. The Winner whose prize has been so forfeited shall not be entitled to any compensation, and shall be deemed to have forfeited any and all claims to that prize.
15. Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, directors, officers and employees of P&G, its agencies and companies associated with this Contest are not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained in relation to participation in this Contest or during the course of accepting and/or using any prize.
16. Winner shall procure to, at P&G’s request, participate, without remuneration, in all promotional activity (such as photography, filming and/or publicity events) surrounding the winning of the prize.
17. Winner consents to P&G using his/her name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media globally and in perpetuity without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Contest (including any outcome thereof), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by P&G. William, Kate dapat anak lelaki

Fuyooo…punya laaa nk dapatkan maklumat yang terbaik..

Perutusan tahniah dari seluruh dunia mencurah untuk Duke & Duchess of Cambridge itu berikutan kelahiran baby tu menduduki tangga ke3 senarai pewaris takhta Britain.

Berat pewaris baru Britain 3.8 kilogram & dilahirkan di Hospital St Mary, London, petang Isnin (awal pagi Selasa 23.7.2013 waktu Malaysia).

PETUGAS khas mengumumkan kelahiran bayi pasangan diraja di luar Hospital St Mary, di London kelmarin.

Duchess of Cambridge, Kate dilaporkan sudah mengalami kesakitan untuk bersalin dan dimasukkan ke hospital kira-kira jam 5.30 pagi semalam (1.30 tengah hari waktu Malaysia) untuk melahirkan bakal raja Britain.

MEDIA dari seluruh dunia berkumpul di luar hospital, menanti kelahiran bayi diraja.

Kelahiran bayi diraja itu diraikan dengan penghormatan tembakan meriam di seluruh London.

Kelahiran tu juga turut diraikan di sebahagian besar negara anggota Komanwel, khususnya Kanada, Australia dan New Zealand..

Baby tu satu hari nanti juga akan menjadi raja di negara Britain.

Bagaimanapun, mereka perlu menanti seminggu lagi sebelum William memberi nama anaknya itu. Bapa William, Charles, mengambil masa sebulan untuk menamakan William pada 1982.

Baby itu dengan gelaran Yang Teramat Mulia Putera (nama) of Cambridge, akan berada dalam senarai pewaris takhta di belakang datuknya, Charles, dan bapanya, William.

Prince of Cambridge cicit kepada Queen Elizabeth..

William turut menemani isterinya ke Lindo Wing, Hospital St Mary di Paddington, barat London, tempat yang sama beliau dilahirkan pada 1982.

Mati dikepit pintu lif

Kuala Lumpur: “Saya terkejut melihat kanak-kanak itu terus mendiamkan diri sebaik kepala dan badannya dari paras pinggang ke atas tersepit di pintu lif,” kata Mohd Nor Asyraf Saifuddin, 17, saksi kejadian ngeri meragut nyawa, Khairul Amir Azri Lani, 11, dalam kejadian di Projek Perumahan Rakyat Desa Tun Razak, Sungai Besi, di sini semalam.
Dalam kejadian kira-kira jam 1.15 tengah hari itu, mangsa yang baru pulang dari sekolah bersama 17 yang lain berada di dalam lif untuk naik ke tingkat tiga kerana mahu ke rumah neneknya.

Asyraf berkata, kanak-kanak itu cuba memanjat tembok apabila lif tiba-tiba rosak antara tingkat dua dan tiga sebelum ia tiba-tiba terhempas menimpa mangsa.

Katanya, lif itu pada awalnya mahu terhempas, tetapi berhenti sebelum pintu terbuka menyebabkan kanak-kanak berkenaan mengambil keputusan untuk melompat keluar.

 ANGGOTA paramedik memeriksa keadaan jenazah Khairul Amir di dalam lif.

 

 IBU Khairul, Nor Hazilah Mat Zain pengsan sebaik mayat anaknya dikeluarkan dari dalam lif.

“Pada awalnya ada seorang kanak-kanak lain yang mahu melompat keluar, tetapi saya sempat menariknya sebelum mangsa nekad keluar.

Tahniah.. Raja Azmi bertunang..

Alhamdulillah.. Keberkatan bulan Ramadan gitu, Raja Azmi akhirnya telah pun selamat bergelar tunangan kepada pemain bass kumpulan CRK, yang lebih dikenali sebagai Eddie. Majlis pertunangan pasangan ini telah berlangsung di rumah pihak perempuan, di Ukay Perdana, Ulu Klang kira-kira jam 6.45 petang semalam dalam suasana penuh tenang dan disempurnakan anak-anak pasangan terbabit di kediaman Raja Azmi di Bukit Antarabangsa di sini.

Yang bestnya tu.. anak sulung Eddie iaitu Mohd Daniel, 21, mewakili bapanya manakala Raja Azmi diwakili anak sulungnya, Puteri Suraya Mohd Jalani, 28.
Pihak perempuan menerima 3 dulang hantaran dan berbalas 5. Cincin pertunangan disarungkan ke jari manis penerbit itu oleh ibu Eddie sendiri. Dan keluarga kedua-dua belah pihak telah bersepakat menetapkan tarikh 15 September ini untuk menyatukan pasangan ini.

Untung la Eddie.. Tunangnya just nak senaskah Al-Quran sebagai gantian wang hantaran pada hari pernikahan mereka nanti.
